About Jog Junkie
What is Jog Junkie?
The idea is simple. Take one outfit and give it 2, 3 maybe even 4 looks.
The thought came to me on a run. Having struggled with balancing a cute, comfy look with the diversity of covering up when needed, I was constantly rolling and untucking my tops and shorts. At times, I was hot. Other times, cold. Sometimes, I wanted to get a little more sun on my abs or legs - at other times, wanted to cover up.
Known as the runner who rolls and unrolls, I figured, someone else has got to do this! I can't be the only one. Thus, I invited Jog Junkie, a simple line of sporting clothes which allow you the freedom to be as free as you want to be!
But why?
Crossing the finish line after a marathon and well, being the ham I am, I immediately found the race photographer. With my top rolled up and my shorts tucked in, I vibrantly smiled and took the pic. Upon receipt, I looked at it with dread! My top was half up and sagging in the back, while my shorts looked like I was in a diaper. If I only had unrolled and untucked, that would've been a pic to keep!
At a recent basketball game, I noticed the girls tucking their long basketball shorts up and into the sides. Without asking, I guessed it was to accentuate their sporty legs or even just to give them the liberty to move. However, I also noticed, while paused at the free throw line, or in the huddle, the athletes fidgeting with their desired look. If they could only make the tuck secure, I wondered how much more comfortable they'd be.
